Terms & Conditions

These terms govern every purchase from PTM Gems ("we", "us") through this website. Placing an order means you have read and accepted them, together with the Shipping Policy, the Return & Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy, which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not order.

1. Who may order

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You are responsible for the accuracy of every detail you give us, including the delivery address and phone number confirmed at checkout.

2. Products, natural variation and photographs

Gemstones and Rudraksha are natural. Colour, clarity, inclusions, shape and surface texture vary from piece to piece and from the photographs, which are enlarged to show detail. Such variation is not a defect.
Weights are stated in Ratti and Carat and may vary by up to ±5% from the figure shown; silver weights by up to ±7%. This tolerance is not grounds for a return.
Every gemstone ships with a laboratory certificate from an independent laboratory. We do not guarantee that a different laboratory will grade the stone identically; grading involves judgement.
Silver is 92.5% pure and BIS hallmarked. Panchdhatu pieces are a five-metal alloy with gold plating; plating wears with use and is not covered by any warranty.

3. Astrological and spiritual use

Gemstones and Rudraksha are sold as jewellery and as items of faith. Any astrological, health, wealth or spiritual benefit described on this site or by our staff reflects traditional belief only. We make no promise of any outcome and accept no claim based on one. Consult a qualified astrologer or doctor for advice.

4. Prices, errors and availability

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. The price at the time you place the order is the price you pay; prices may change without notice for later orders.
We may cancel and refund any order placed at a price that was clearly published in error, or for stock we no longer hold, with an apology and a full refund. This is our only liability in that case.
A coupon may be used once per order, cannot be combined with another coupon unless stated, has no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we dispatch the goods; an order confirmation e-mail is not acceptance.
Payment is taken in full at checkout unless a partial-payment or cash-on-delivery option is shown. On a partial-payment order the advance secures the piece; if the balance is refused on delivery the order is treated as a refused delivery under the Shipping Policy.
We may decline or cancel an order that we reasonably suspect is fraudulent, placed by a reseller, or in breach of these terms.

6. Delivery, returns and risk

Delivery times, delivery attempts, risk in transit and returns are governed by the Shipping Policy and the Return & Refund Policy. In particular, an unboxing video is required for every return or damage claim, and returns are accepted for 15 days from delivery only.

7. Your account and conduct

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your account. You may not use this site to scrape data, to post false reviews, to place orders you do not intend to accept, or to interfere with its operation. We may suspend an account that does.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, photographs, text and the PTM Gems name and marks belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for any commercial purpose without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Reviews and content you send us

By sending a review, photograph or message you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use it on this site and in our marketing, edited for length. We may remove content that is false, offensive or unrelated to the product.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms at any time; the version published when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any right you have to approach a consumer forum.
